4 YEARS, 9 COUNTRIES, 2 FRIENS AND MORE THAN 1000 MEMORIES

Kitty was here!!!!!! And it seems like eternity ever since she's been gone and not only 3 days! But time flies when you're having fun and time flies in ultra speed when I am with my sister-by-soul.

This time she visited me in Prague! Slowly, really slowly, she's getting to know all the places, people and cakes which I adore. Not only in Prague where I study, work and live but also in Slovakia, where she visited me last summer to check on my brother and parents. Sweet.

We spent 4 full days together which felt like 4 weeks. We got ordered pear shots in a restaurant by elderly guys, we watched Friends and laughed out loud on a whole bus on our way from the trip to Cesky Krumlov, we ate zillion of cakes, drunk liters of coffee, dance in the rain, talked, laughed, smiled. All the things one do with her best friend, right?

Kitty hates this photo but I love it so much - how she is holding tightly to me as if afraid that I am gonna disappear and leave her in Cesky Krumlov by her own :)

Breathtakingly beautiful!!!

Thanks to Radka we managed two in one - one day and two trips - Hluboka Castle.

With my girls getting ready to go out on Saturday night as well as having brunch afterwards on Sunday morning!

Aaaand getting crazy and acting silly in a zoo!

It wouldn't be a Prague visit without a tour to the castle - this time with Starbucks as a sweet reward!

Thank you Kitty and all of my girls for coming and being with us! It means a lot to me and I hope we'll keep on doing it more and more often!!! Always welcome <3

Somewhere between the heaven and earth.

Today, somewhere between the heaven and earth. On search for inspiration. Daydreaming on being a guest at the one-room hotel up in the tower, because... ...there's simply something about the eternity and sky, about the birds and how they can fly. The occasion was more than casual. Was relaxed and natural. I was having a coffee.

Ice-creaming

Today, Radka and I were ice-creaming. Tasted one of the first ice-creams this year and boy, it was delicious! Have it ever occurred to you how do they name the ice-cream? Before it used to be plain strawberry, chocolate or vanilla. But today I had an ice-cream called "bacio". How do you associate kiss with chocolate and nuts? Or better. I remember when Kitty and I were in Italy, we visited little town Salerno and had probably the best ice-cream of all times. But the names were super ridiculous! Unfortunately I remember only one: "Kate&William". Must have been something fruity. Amen.

To sum up this day, I can say that I tasted some really good "kiss" and tried a new carrot cake, but most of all had endless fun!

Dnes sme sa s Radkou vybrali ochutnat jednu z prvych zmrzlin tohto roku. A bolo to velmi mnamozne! Zamysleli ste sa ale niekedy nad nazvami tych kopcekov studenej slasti? S dievcatami v Kosiciach sme chodili do Aidy na kopcek jahodovej, cokoladovej alebo vanilkovej. Dnes som mala prichut "bacio". Ako si mohol niekto vymysliet, ze cokolada s orieskami bude asociovat bozk? Pytam sa. Alebo lepsie. Ked sme s Kitty boli v Taliansku, zavitali sme do mestecka Salerno a mali pravdepodobne este lepsiu zmrzlinu, ako robia v Svetozore v Prahe. Ale tie mena! Co mi ostalo zafixovane je prichut "Kate&William". Predpokladam, ze muselo ist o nejaku ovocnu prichut alebo cokoladovu. To uz neviem, ale tie nazvy ma prekvapili. Totalne.

Aby som ale zhrnula dnesok, tak bol velmi dobrom "bozku", o novom mrkvovom kolaci a hlavne o smiechu!

Hello February! I know, it's been all quite here, but hey - the new month and the new challenges are here! So let's congratulate the lady of the week - who is no one else than my friend Petra, who PASSED the last exam in her life (hopefully), and is way closer to graduation than I am. So here we were, enjoying the festive lunch with a glass or two of prosseco :)

Ahoj Februar - vitam Ta medzi nami!

Viem, viem, nejak som tu poslednu dobu nesrsala aktivitou, ale nakolko sa nikto z Vas nevyjadril, ci chce alebo nie pocuvat o Konfuciovi alebo cinskych dejinach, brala som to ako nie a mlcala.

Tento tyzden vsak patri inej slecne, a nebude to nikto iny ako nasa Peta, ktora uspesne zostatnicovala a je o krok blizsie k promociam ako ja.

A tu je len zopar fotiek, zo slavnostneho obeda, kde sme si dali pohar alebo aj dva prosecca :)

Sometimes you don't have to drive over the borders to get into the best Christmas mood!

Our Christmas Market here in Prague. Wouldn't recommend to drink "Gluhwein" there, but besides this, we have the prettiest "Tannenbaum".

Nas vianocny trh v Prahe. Asi by som Vam neodporucala pit tam varene vino, ale az na tento detail tam vladne prima vianocna atmosfera a jednoznacne mame najkrajsi vianocny stromcek!

first x-mas lights

First x-mas lights arrived to Prague and I was happy to discover them with my friend Petra.

Writing about x-mas today as it is 24th November, which leaves us only with 1 full month for shopping, preparation and wrapping the presents up!

Prve vianocne svetielka dorazili uz aj do Prahy a ja som mala to statie, ze mi ich ukazala moja kamoska Peta.

Specialne dnes pisem znovu o Vianociach, nakolko je 24.novembra, z coho vyplyva, ze mame presne 1 mesiac na to, aby sme vymysleli, nakupili a zabalili vianocne darceky!

Zacali ste uz s vianocnymi nakupmi? Alebo si ich odkladate na neskor?

snow is faling

Ok, it's official - from today on it's absolutely legal to listen to x-mas songs!

I woke up today and there was snow EVERYWHERE - everything is white just like a toilette paper on a floor in a train's toilette (this comment is especially for Kitty, to make her smile:))

Anyway, we decided that snow is not gonna stop us from traditional Saturday farmer's market, here in Prague. Well, the market was still there, me and my friend Lucka, bought some essentials, but I was still leaving completely broken-hearted as my fav croissant in the world was sold out!

So we went to French bakery for a cappuccino instead and that was just beyond perfection.

Enough for now, I am tuning on to Last Christmas... What's your fav x-mas song?

Ok, takze od dnes je oficialne dovolene pocuvat vianocne pesnicky!

Dnes rano som sa zobudila a vsade naokolo bol sneh - vsetko bolo biele, ako ked mate na zachode vo vlaku vsade po zemi toaletny papier (toto prirovnanie je pre Kitty:))

V kazdom pripade sme sa rozhodli, ja a Lucka, ze nas sneh predsa nemoze zastrasit a aj napriek nemu sme sa vybrali na tradicny farmarsky trh. Trh tam bol, aj sme nakupili nejake zakladne ingrediencie pre Sobotne popoludnie, ale aj napriek tomu som odchadzala so zlomenym srdcom, nakolko moj najoblubenejsi marcipanovy croissant bol vypredany!

A tak sme namiesto toho sli do francuzskej pekarne, kde sme si dali cappuccino.

Dost bolo pre dnesok, idem si pustit Last Christmas... Ktory je Vas najoblubenejsi vianocny hit?

As the autumn has arrived, we've decided to pay a visit to the local market. It's needless to say that it was super colorful and super nice. We have tried everything we could and even something more!

S prichodom jesene sme sa rozhodli, ze je na case vydat sa znovu na miestny trh. Myslim, ze ani nemusim vraviet kolko tam bolo teraz farieb a voni. A samozrejne, ze sme museli ochutnat zo vsetkeho a este aj z niecoho navyse!
