Today's post is going to be a lil bit educational. As many of my friends are always asking how does it actually look like in a sleeping compartment in a train, I've decided that I am going to show you all!

My journey from Prague to my hometown Kosice, in Slovakia, takes around 10 hours, so it's more comfortable to take a sleeping train.

Here you can see 3 beds above each other. It's like a 3-bed-bunk bed - in a way!

Dnesny prispevok bude tak trochu vzdelavaci. Vela mojich kamaratov sa ma stale pyta, ze ako to vyzera v spacom vozni vo vlaku, a tak som sa dnes rozhodla, ze Vam to ukazem rovno vsetkym!

Moja cesta z Prahy do Kosic trava asi 10 hodin, a tak je pohodnejsie ist lozkom.

Ako mozete vidiet, kupe vyzera ako keby tam bola trojita poschodova postel!

Sunday brunch

Hello lovelies, so this is the track of my Sunday adventure! While in Szeged, I had really bad internet connection, so wasn't able to post - sorry - now trying to keep up!

I spent Sunday with my dearest friends Csilla and Nora, first having brunch in Most and then strolling around the city and trying to catch my train to Prague - oh well.

Ahojte! Ponukam Vam kratky zostrih mojeho nedelneho dobrodruzstva v Budapesti, ktore sa zacalo brunchom s mojimi najmilsimi, Csillou a Norou, a vyustilo v nahanacku na vlak.

V Szegede som nemala velmi pripojenie na internet, ktore by zvladlo blogovanie, takze sa Vam to tu teraz pokusim vynahradit!

Szeged and the city

Welcome to Szeged baby!!! As I had so little faith in this Hungarian town, it really surprised me a lot! Especially the dobos torta they serve here - one of the best so far!

I'm a rockstar!

As you can see, I've decided to dedicate this week to the Netherlands! You've already seen snaps of Amsterdam, Utrecht and now it's time for Volendam! Which is the most typical Dutch town ever, right?
So what we've done there? Besides eating haring and drinking Heineken, we had probably the best night ever. No kidding! Accidentally we found ourselves in the middle of carnival, which is the biggest fest in the town, which is highly attended by all the famous Dutch celebrities, such as footballers, their coaches, singers and many more. I hope I don't have to publicly confess that I didn't know any of them! But Kitty she knew them all and we had the most fun out of it, taking pictures with Jan Smit and other drunk singers, who were claiming to us that they were ROCKSTARS!!! 


Ako ste si mohli vsimnut, rozhodla som sa venovat tento tyzden Holandsku! Mohli ste si uz prehliadnut nejake tie snimky z Amsterdamu, Utrechtu a teraz prisiel rad na Volendam! Co je asi najtypickejsie holandske mestecko.

Last Thursday, Kitty and I spent in Utrecht. The city is little and cute, just like all Dutch cities I've seen so far (and I did a lot). We did a lot of walking until we found a cafe with chai latte and cheese cake.
Especially I enjoyed shopping in second-hand shops, which hide all the treasures, such as all the different books and tins, which I just NEEDED!!!


Minuly stvrtok sme sa s Kitty vybrali do Utrechtu. Ako kazde z holandskych mesteciek, ktore som zatial navstivila (a nebolo ich malo), je aj toto malicke a rozkosne. Kym sme nasli to spravne miesto s cheese cake-om a chai latte, tak sme den stravili viac menej chodenim po second-handoch a nakupovanim rozlicnych blbosti, ktore jednoznacne POTREBUJEM!

The summer is almost over and I've decided to seize this opportunity and do my last gate away. Where else if not to Amsterdam, to visit my dear friend Kitty. So here's how I spent the day, trying to find my orientation in the city, while Kitty had to work:

As I've already told you I've spent my b-day in Budapest with my dearest friends. I don't know what it is about the city, which makes me coming back again and again. There must be some special hidden magnet 'cos every time when I'm on a train back home, I am thinking and overthinking the idea of moving in permanently at least for a year.
But now when Csilla and Nora are there this dream might actually come true very easily and very soon!  Let's wait and see.
I am presenting you now some pictures we took on our strolls around the town and also from party in Szimpla, which became our favorite place after visiting it over and over again in Berlin.

Ako som Vam uz povedala, svoje narodeniny som stravila v Budapesti so svojimi drahymi kamaratmi. Neviem cim to je, ale toto mesto ma stale taha spat. Zakazkym ked som vo vlaku spat domov, tak rozmyslam nad tym, ci by som nemala prist na trvalo a vyskusat byvat tu aspon na rok.
Teraz ked Csilla a Nora budu v meste, tak sa tato "fantasmagoria" mozno aj coskoro stane skutocnostou. Ktovie? Pockame si a uvidime :)

Few weeks ago I had a discussion with my cousin about the word "yummious", which he claimed doesn't exist! I can only tell you that it is one of the most common words in my vocabulary and all the time I said so, he started laughing.  What I am saying to defense myself is, that he surely has no imagination. (can't really blame him, he does science)  So I'm leaving you today with this short story, which wants to comemorate Walt Disney: "Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age and dreams are forever." Think about it next time, when someone tells you that something doesn't exist! Pred par tyzdnami som sa dostala do polemiky so svojim bratrancom, a sice slo o slovo "famozny", o ktorom on tvrdil ze neexistuje. Nakolko ocividne nepochadza zo slova "famous", alebo minimalne ja ho tak nepouzivam. Mozem len povedat, ze je to jedno z najfrekventovanejsich slov v mojej slovnej zasobe, a tak zakazdym ked som ho pouzila, spustil sa smiech (samozrejme z jeho strany).

How many songs are there about Hollywood? And how many people wanna go there? And how many times have you heard, that Hollywood is the must from LA and that stars live there and that there's sparkle and glitter everywhere? So listen up now! None of this is true! Actually I was more than disappointed by the whole visit. Just too many people (as always), too much chaos and just too much of everything. One says that you simply have to get into the mood of it all. But sincerely I doubt it. When we left (like 30 minutes after we took a picture with Hollywood sign in the background - together with another 5 people), I've realized that I haven't taken any picture of a star on the boulevard! Uuuups! But no regrets about that - unless I am the Oscar nominee or am otherwise invited to the Kodak Theater I guess you won't be seeing me there much - haha. But each to his own - right? Do you like this kind of things?  Kolkokrat ste poculi z radia piesne o Hollywoode? A kolko vela ludi sa tam chce dostat? A kolkokrat ste poculi, ze Hollywood je jednoducho to naj naj naj z LA, ze na 100% sa tam musite aspon raz za zivot pozriet? A ze je plny jagotu a trblietok zo strieborneho platna?

Say hello to the oldest living creatures in the world! One of our last trips in the US was The Sequoia National Park, where we took a walk among those giants. Honestly, when I was there they didn't seem THAT big, but now going through the photos and seeing how small everyone looks in comparison to them, I realized that these trees are living giants!

On a way from San Diego

On our way from San Diego, where we went to the biggest zoo, we stopped in San Clemente - Orange County, which is a heaven for surfers. If you watched The O.C. properly you could have seen Sandy going to surf every now and then. And honestly can't blame him, the water was just amazingly blue!
